What: |
This course will explore the various facets of recovery: how we define it, when does it begin, and what the role of treatment is in this process. It will review the key principals of the Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) and how to do wellness planning which supports the whole person in their recovery. This course is for both the addiction clinicians and for peer staff. Together, they will build a common language for recovery support services,look at the skills and function that each provides in a recovery system as well as examine boundary and ethical issues that might arise in a ROSC system due to their unique roles in the recovery process. This course will use case examples, role plays and will engages individuals to bring their own experiences to the course to share. |
