Technology Transfer Specialist (TTS) : Opioid State Targeted Response (STR) Technical Assistance (TA) Project, Maryland
Job Description: The Danya Institute is hiring a TTS to work with the Opioid Response Network (ORN) in Region 3. This position will work as part of a larger team to develop strategies and programming to address the substance use and opioid crisis in the HHS Region 3 (Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia). As part of the federal ORN and Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network, the TTS will respond to technical assistance (TA) requests and facilitate planning, communication, and provision of appropriate TA with individuals and organizations, such as training and educational programming and matching evidence-based interventions to state-specific needs and requests. Alongside the Regional Coordinator, the TTS will lead communication channels among TA providers, ensure proper staffing of regional TA teams, and ensure proper execution of TA deliverables.

The candidate must be able to assist in coordinating the tasks and activities to achieve the project objectives. The position coordinate and participates in meetings of the Technology Transfer Network and other collaborators in HHS Region 3. The person will be responsible for assisting the Project Directors and Director of Operations in the writing, revision, and presentation of reports, publications, and contracts.
