The Danya Institute/Central East Addiction Technology Transfer Center was pleased to be able to support this effort of the Maryland faith community on July 25, 2013 at St. James Episcopal Church in Baltimore. Entitled “Where the Hurting Meet the Holy”, an outstanding group of presenters discussed “Building Community through Courage, Commitment, Compassion and Coalition.” We look forward to supporting more involvement of faith communities in substance abuse and mental health issues.
