| What: |
Peer support specialists are valuable resources for other persons in recovery and demonstrate how to achieve and maintain wellness. This workshop will discuss how to utilize life experience, positive relationships and self care to increase the capacity for sustainable recovery. Participants will enhance skills including effective communication, conflict resolution, problems solving, and self advocacy. Role-play, multi-media, and popular education techniques will be used to achieve the objectives of this workshop. |
