Management Challenge is a one-day leadership development experience in which managers practice developing their employees. Staff can put his/her managerial skills into action during this team-based simulation as they engage virtual employees in critical conversations and coaching. Most face gaps in communication skills that affect their ability to mentor and motivate.
Emphasis is on peer feedback and interaction. There is also practice with video recordings of workplace scenarios, followed by facilitator-led debriefings and exercises. Participants are put in teams, which may include a director, a senior manager, and a manager, and are given virtual employees to interact with. They will rotate roles to experience all perspectives.
