New research shows high corrolation between HIV and childhood abuse
A two year study conduct by Duke University and supported by the National Institute of Mental Health of more than 600 HIV patients revealed that one in four had been sexually abused as a child. Not surprisingly, this early trauma also correlated to worse health outcomes among these patients as adults. Read more about the study here.
